Eventus Legal are seeking an experienced Corporate & Commercial Solicitor to join a Legal 500-recognised and expanding law firm based in Chester, Cheshire. This is a full‑time, permanent job offering a competitive salary of £43,000 – £55,000 depending on experience and presents an exciting opportunity for a talented solicitor with at least 2 years’ post‑qualification experience to join a high‑performing team. Role Responsibilities
- Advising on company formations, corporate restructures, M&A transactions and shareholder agreements.
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts including terms and conditions, service agreements, NDAs and more.
- Supporting corporate transactions from initial instruction to post‑completion.
- Assisting clients with commercial legal risk and compliance matters.
- Leading or assisting in due diligence and disclosure processes.
- Working collaboratively with other departments within the firm to deliver a seamless service.
- Taking an active role in business development, including attending networking events, contributing to marketing campaigns, and developing client relationships.
Person Specification
- Applications are sought from experienced Solicitors with at least 2 years’ PQE (not NQ) in Corporate or Commercial Law.

- Between 2–5 years PQE in either corporate, commercial or a mix of both.
