Eventus Legal are recruiting for a Residential Conveyancer to join the Residential Conveyancing team of a well-regarded high street law firm, from their office in Chester-Le-Street, County Durham. This is a permanent position offered full-time, working 9am-5pm each day. Benefits include 25 days holiday plus Christmas closure as additional leave plus hybrid working.

Role Responsibilities

The incoming Residential Conveyancer will be part of a well-respected team running their own caseloads of residential conveyancing matters, both freehold and leasehold. The work is typically local and client facing, rather than panel based, and will be circa 50 files.

Person Specification

Applications are sought from experienced Solicitors, Legal Executives, Licenced Conveyancers or experienced Fee-Earners who are competent to run their own caseload of matters, largely unsupervised though with management and secretarial support. As a Residential Conveyancer you will ideally have a minimum of 5 years’ fee-earning experience although those that can demonstrate the required skills and experience and are not at the suggested experience level are also encouraged to apply. You will be extremely knowledgeable but also confident to meet with clients face-to-face and deliver an excellent service.
