Eventus Legal are seeking a Serious Injury Solicitor to join a highly regarded Personal Injury & Clinical Negligence team on a permanent, full-time basis in Birmingham, West Midlands. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Serious Injury Solicitor to work on complex and high-value catastrophic injury matters within a supportive and collaborative environment. Role Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of complex serious injury matters involving high-value and life-changing injuries
- Providing expert legal advice with a highly client-focused and empathetic approach
- Conducting litigation, instructing counsel and experts, attending hearings and negotiating settlements
- Managing client expectations and liaising with relevant third parties and medical professionals
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members to aid their professional development
- Assisting with networking, marketing initiatives and wider business development activities
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider business to deliver a seamless client service
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of developments within serious injury litigation
Person Specification
- Qualified Solicitor or equivalent
- Significant experience within serious injury and catastrophic injury litigation
- Strong technical knowledge of multi-track personal injury matters
- Excellent understanding of the Rehabilitation Code and Serious Injury Guide
- Commercially minded with strong relationship management and business development skills
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
