Eventus Recruitment are seeking a Child Care Solicitor to join a Legal 500 law firm based in Bradford, West Yorkshire. This is a permanent, full-time job with hybrid working. Other benefits include an annual bonus scheme, generous holiday allowance with the opportunity to buy and sell holidays and enhanced maternity / paternity leave.

Role Responsibilities

  • The incoming Child Care Solicitor will be responsible for providing expert legal representation and advice in childcare law, managing a caseload of both public and private law matters, and advocating on behalf of clients in court.
  • You will work closely with clients, social workers, and local authorities to ensure the best possible outcomes for children and families.

Person Specification

  • Applications are sought from Solicitors with a minimum of 3 years' PQE in dealing with all aspects of childcare matters.
  • You will also have the following skills and attributes:
    • Excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
    • Strong advocacy skills with the ability to represent clients effectively in court
    • A compassionate, client-focused approach with excellent relationship-building skills
    • LAA Supervisor status is preferable but not essential
