Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor to join the conveyancing department of a well-established North West firm in Bolton, Greater Manchester. This is a full-time, permanent job working 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with hybrid working available and a salary of £32,000 to £45,000 depending on experience. You will run your own caseload independently, supported by 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, a pension scheme, an attendance bonus and life insurance at two times your salary.
About the Role
This Conveyancing Solicitor job is about owning your own caseload and running it your way. You will act on purchase and sale transactions and leases, prioritise your own workload and delegate where it makes sense. The Conveyancing Solicitor will also look after an existing client base and develop new business alongside it, so the job suits a solicitor who enjoys building client relationships as well as completing files in Bolton.
Key responsibilities include:
- Manage your own conveyancing caseload and work independently
- Act on purchase and sale transactions and leases
- Maintain the existing client base and develop new business
- Prioritise your workload and delegate where appropriate
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor with at least one year's PQE.
You should also be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience of purchase and sale transactions and leases
- Experience of small business transactions would be useful
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to prioritise a busy caseload
- Good IT skills
- Very high attention to detail, with accuracy essential
- Good communication skills
- The ability to work well in a team
