Eventus Recruitment Group are seeking a Wills & Probate Fee Earner (Solicitor or Experienced Paralegal) for a highly regarded law firm based in Birkenhead, Wirral. This is a full-time, permanent job offering excellent progression opportunities, high-quality estate administration work and a supportive, collaborative Private Client department. Job Responsibilities

  • The incoming Wills & Probate Fee Earner will manage their own caseload of Probate, Estate Administration and Trust matters, delivering high-quality legal advice and maintaining exceptional standards of client care.
  • This job is suited to a Solicitor, Legal Executive or experienced Paralegal with strong knowledge of Private Client work.
  • Managing a varied caseload of Probate, Estate Administration and Trust matters from file opening to conclusion.
  • Completing occasional complex Will drafting and trust documentation.
  • Communicating with clients, beneficiaries and third parties via telephone, email, video call and post.
  • Identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities.
  • Drafting legal documents including deeds of variation, affidavits, estate accounts and legal statements.
  • Advising clients on tax matters including Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax liabilities.

This job requires strong theoretical knowledge of probate processes, the confidence to make decisions, and the ability to progress files with limited administrative support.
