As an experienced Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive, you will be joining one of the regions’ most reputable law firms within a department that truly puts their clients at the heart of everything they do. This Private Client role will suit a passionate fee earner, who is able to manage a truly varied caseload and build strong relationships with clients old and new.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Manage a varied caseload of Private Client matters, including Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection matters, and Trust Registration Scheme work.
  • Ensure all files are progressed efficiently from initial instruction through to completion, maintaining accurate records and case management updates.
  • Advise clients on inheritance tax implications and estate planning strategies.
  • Handle the full administration of estates, including applications for Grants of Probate and administration of estates through to finalisation.
  • Communicate with clients regularly via phone, email, and in person.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with colleagues across the private client department.

Person Specification:

  • Applications are sought from experienced Private Client Solicitors and/or Legal Executives who have experience and a sound understanding within private client.
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience although all PQE levels are considered for this role.
  • Prior experience managing a busy and varied private client caseload.
  • Full clean driving licence.
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload independently.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience building and maintaining strong client relationships.
