Eventus Legal are seeking a Litigation Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly successful Litigation team in Newcastle Upon Tyne, Tyne and Wear. This is a permanent job that can be offered on a full‑time or part‑time basis. The successful Litigation Solicitor will be rewarded with great benefits including an uncapped bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising with service), hybrid working and flexibility over hours.
Role responsibilities
- Working in the Litigation team, the postholder will act for claimants and defendants in a variety of commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, property litigation, commercial and residential tenancy disputes, consumer protection and produce liability, tortious claims, volume claims and debt recovery.
Person specification
- Applications are sought from qualified Solicitors or Legal Executives with prior experience in litigation (both claimant and defendant).
- Ideally you will be experienced in running a varied caseload across areas such as commercial disputes, including contractual disputes, property litigation, commercial and residential tenancy disputes, consumer protection and produce liability, tortious claims, volume claims and debt recovery.
- It is essential that you are a strong team player who can also work independently to drive forward their client base in the North of the region.
- Excellent organisational and collaboration skills are also a must.
- In addition, you should enjoy a challenge and be able to effectively manage multiple cases simultaneously, whilst delegating tasks efficiently.
