eVenturing Background

eVenturing is a London based Accelerator that partners with brands selling on Amazon. We join founders on their journey, optimising front line sales, building company infrastructure and creating a step-by-step roadmap to exit.

The Story

Our founders have a financial background, as well as many years of hands-on Amazon selling experience. Bridging the gap between finance and e-commerce, we wanted to create an all-encompassing business, one that can work with founders from start to finish, and in 2018, eVenturing was born. Since its inception, eVenturing has gone from strength to strength. The business has grown year over year with a continuously expanding team of 45 and 100+ portfolio businesses. With ambitious targets, this is an exciting time to join a young, fast growing, scaling business within a truly 21st century niche!

The Role

We are seeking a commercially driven, tenacious, and highly organised Deal Origination Manager, Account Executive. As part of the Origination function, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the growth of our pipeline by identifying, researching, and engaging with prospective business owners considering a future exit. Reporting to the executive team and working closely with the wider portfolio, you will manage early-stage business development with potential clients, positioning eVenturing as the optimal solution to maximise the valuation of their business ahead of an exit. Your mission will be to proactively source new business by identifying target brands, building relationships with business owners and leadership teams, key industry stakeholders, and further cementing our presence in the Ecommerce ecosystem. You’ll play a key role in expanding our deal pipeline and fostering relationships with potential clients globally, with a focus on the UK, US, and European markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and Research Opportunities: Conduct research and utilise various tools to uncover potential opportunities across sectors.
  • Lead Management: Build and maintain lead lists and CRM records of target businesses and key contacts.
  • Outreach Campaigns: Create and deliver high-quality, personalised outreach campaigns via email, LinkedIn, and phone to engage potential clients.
  • Preparation and Support: Assist in preparing briefing notes, target summaries, and internal opportunity reviews for discussions.
  • Client Engagement: Manage the process end-to-end from initial engagement through to sign terms, with full ownership of the entire cycle through to terms signed.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to align origination efforts with key strategic priorities.
  • Reporting: Contribute to regular business development reporting, pipeline updates, and internal origination meetings.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development, lead generation, or outbound sales.
  • Advanced experience with Amazon FBA (desired but not essential).
  • Highly self-motivated with a proactive and professional approach to building relationships.
  • Comfortable working to and exceeding KPI targets, especially in outreach or engagement metrics.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Good working knowledge of LinkedIn and CRM platforms.
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and confident working in a fast-paced, deal-driven environment.
  • Basic understanding of M&A or the investment lifecycle is advantageous but not essential.
  • Financial literacy and entrepreneurial spirit.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary.
  • Performance based remuneration.
  • Clear career progression opportunities.
