Job Details

• Job Title: Activity Play Worker
• Salary: £13 per hour
• Location: The Hub, Finchley (N3 3ED)
• Hours: Flexible part-time shifts, mainly Sundays and school holidays throughout the year
• Contract: Bank, paid for the hours worked
• Start Date: Inductions on Mon 30th June and Mon 28th July; availability for these dates is required
• Vacancies: 10

About Norwood

About The Role

Our Unity service offers recreational activities, clubs, and short breaks for children and young people with neurodevelopmental disabilities, in a fun environment. Participants enjoy activities like drama, arts and crafts, cookery, dance, sports, music, and outings.

Responsibilities

• Providing a safe, caring, and welcoming environment
• Assisting in planning and setting up activities
• Supporting children with toileting, eating, and drinking as needed

Induction

Mandatory 4-day paid induction training prior to starting. Inductions are on Mon 30th June and Mon 28th July; availability for these dates is necessary.
