Event Crew (LGV C+E Driver)
We are looking for talented and motivated individuals to support our Formula 1 contracts for the 2026 season and other event work. You will be working in a fast-paced, professional environment; a hardworking can-do attitude is essential. It’s a tough, demanding but extremely rewarding job. Responsibilities
- You will Transport and deliver high value cargo to UK and European locations to support high profile events, namely Formula 1. You will be responsible for the unloading and construction of the hospitality and race base units. During the event you will be responsible for general hospitality duties and maintenance of the unit to ensure very high standards are maintained. Post event involves packing down and safely stowing all equipment for transportation to the next event
- This position requires the ability to work away from home for extended periods of up to 14 consecutive weeks at a time. This commitment extends beyond weekend work and will include availability for the full Formula 1 calendar, including race events as well as off-season preparation and associated activities
- You will maintain excellent working standards in the day-to-day operation ensuring adherence to all company and legislative compliance requirements
Trackside Setup
- The unloading and construction of the hospitality and race base units from start to finish, including marking out the build area, laying and levelling the grid and landing pods
- External and internal cleaning and maintenance when the initial structural build has been completed, including set up of furniture and décor as per customer specification
- During the event, carrying out general hospitality duties and maintenance tasks to ensure the standard of the unit remains at a very high level. This will range from customer service, kitchen support and assisting with front of house duties – through to basic plumbing and electrical work
- Once the event has concluded, packing down and stowing all equipment, furniture and preparing the hospitality and race base units for a structural de-build, (lifting and loading the pods etc.)
- Assisting with the loading of all equipment onto trucks and trailers, and re-securing everything to a high standard for transport by road to the next destination
- Ensuring all trucks and trailers are in a road-worthy condition before they leave the circuit
- Washing and cleaning trucks to a very high standard all year round – Even if your truck is not kept in the Paddock, inside & outside must be always immaculate
- Accept that due to customer demands and contractual obligations you may be required to change shift times and adjust your working hours to meet these demands
Outside of Formula One
- Outside of the Formula 1 season, you are required to participate in LGV C+E trunking for Eventor, undertaking general haulage driving duties. These duties will involve delivering and collecting to RDCs along with general haulage work for a range of priority customers across multiple sectors and industries. This role can involve manual handling, drop and swaps store deliveries including assisting in loading/unloading and other general trunking work
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months LGV C+E experience – Required
- Valid passport at least 18 months (from January 2026) – Required
- DBS Check – Required (Will be provided for successful candidates)
- Ability to work in a pressurised environment and meet deadlines – Required
- Effective communication and teamwork – Required
- Experience with Customs and Carnets – Desirable
- Trade/Engineering/Mechanical experience – Desirable
- Forklift/Telehandler/Moffett licence – Desirable
- Event or touring Experience – Desirable
- European driving experience – Desirable
- Left hand drive Experience – Desirable
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment – Desirable
