We are looking for someone looking to learn more about the events industry within our friendly team. Applicants need to be competent with general warehouse tasks such as reading loading lists, assessing stock that may need repairs and using initiative to improve the products that we send out onto events. One day we are loading huge fiberglass trees previously used on the Olympics Opening Ceremony, the next we're building circus props! There is also the opportunity to travel to major venues around the country.

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to the handling and proactive building of event items. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties:

  • Work within a team to load vehicles according to loading lists.
  • Perform heavy lifting and manual handling of stock as required.
  • Maintain an organised warehouse environment by keeping areas clean and free of hazards.
  • Stay on top of any potential stock problems such as item quantities and condition.
  • Assist with materials handling, including loading and unloading goods from vans.
  • Collaborate with team members to accurately manage goods.

Skills:

  • Previous experience, or interest, in the events or film industry preferred.
  • Creative thinking to innovate new products.
  • Willingness to be lifting heavy goods as and when required.
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail for accurate order fulfilment.
  • Driving license preferred to help with driving vans.
