The Role

You’ll be the driving force behind the efficiency, security, and scalability of Eventogy’s cloud platforms. Working closely with our developers and operations team, you’ll own our AWS environments and CI/CD processes, ensuring smooth releases, robust observability, and cost-effective performance. This is a hands‑on role that balances delivery with continuous improvement—perfect for someone who enjoys building mature DevOps foundations in a fast‑moving SaaS environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, manage, and optimise AWS infrastructure supporting multiple production platforms.
  • Enhance and maintain CI/CD pipelines, enabling rapid, reliable, and secure deployments.
  • Strengthen security, identity, and compliance controls in alignment with ISO 27001 standards.
  • Implement effective monitoring, alerting, and observability to ensure high availability and early issue detection.
  • Contribute to disaster recovery and business‑continuity planning, including backup and multi‑region resilience strategies.
  • Drive cost optimisation and performance efficiency across AWS services.
  • Collaborate with developers to streamline build, test, and release workflows.
  • Document infrastructure, standards, and procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering roles.
  • Proven expertise with AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, networking, monitoring, etc.).
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Docker and container‑based deployments.
  • Excellent problem‑solving skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
  • Strong communicator who enjoys close collaboration with developers.

Desirable:

  • Experience supporting PHP (CodeIgniter/Laravel) or JavaScript-based SaaS applications.
  • Grasp of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Exposure to ISO 27001 or regulated environments.
  • Awareness of cost‑efficiency and scaling strategies in AWS.
