EventMAP develops intelligent software platforms used across a number of sectors including Education, Healthcare, Government and Defence, helping organisations optimise complex scheduling, planning and operational processes using advanced optimisation techniques and AI-driven technologies.
As part of a dynamic and growing engineering organisation, you will play an important role in ensuring the quality, stability and reliability of our software platforms. EventMAP are seeking QA Analysts to join our product engineering teams. This role focuses on ensuring the quality of our software platforms through structured testing, investigation of issues, and validation of new features prior to release.
The role sits between Support and Development, helping to reproduce issues, verify fixes and perform regression testing across our product suite. The QA team plays a key role in ensuring that releases meet a high standard of quality before reaching customers.
You will work closely with developers, support engineers and product teams to investigate issues, improve testing processes and contribute to the overall stability and performance of EventMAP solutions, including our AI-powered optimisation and scheduling platforms.
As a QA Analyst, you will:
- Investigate and reproduce reported issues from support teams and clients
- Perform manual testing of new features and product releases
- Execute structured regression testing prior to product deployments
- Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are fully resolved
- Work closely with developers to clearly document defects and expected behaviour
- Assist in improving overall test coverage and QA processes
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing where appropriate
- Support the continuous improvement of software quality across EventMAP products
- Help ensure releases meet internal quality standards before delivery to customers
Skills & requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience testing web-based applications or software systems
- Ability to investigate, reproduce and clearly document software issues
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with development and support teams
- Attention to detail and a structured approach to testing
- Experience working in a software QA or testing role
- Experience with issue tracking systems (e.g. Jira, GitHub, Azure DevOps etc.)
- Familiarity with API testing tools (e.g. Postman or similar)
- Exposure to automated testing frameworks
- Understanding of modern web technologies and application architectures
- Experience working in an Agile development environment
