We are seeking a Senior Business Development Manager, highly connected, commercially astute dealmaker with a strong track record in winning new business and leading complex tender processes. This role requires someone with an established industry network, proven experience in converting high-value opportunities, and confidence leading strategic bids from end to end.
What you will do:
- Lead proactive new business development across key sectors including venues and hospitality sectors
- Leverage an established industry network to generate high-quality commercial opportunities and partnerships
- Own and drive the end-to-end tender and RFP process, leading responses with minimal oversight
- Develop high-impact, strategically positioned proposals with clear commercial “win themes” and value propositions
- Lead pitch strategy, storytelling, and client presentations in collaboration with senior leadership and marketing
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships and long-term client relationships
- Conduct advanced market research and competitor analysis to inform sales strategy
- Act as a senior ambassador for Eventist Collective at high-level industry events and networking forums
- Mentor and support junior team members on bid writing and business development activity
- Lead selected strategic growth projects and key account opportunities
Skills and experience:
- Significant experience in business development, sales, or partnerships within hospitality, events, or premium services
- Proven track record of winning and closing high-value business
- Strong and demonstrable network of industry contacts and decision-makers
- Extensive experience leading tender, RFP, and bid management processes end-to-end
- Exceptional written communication and storytelling ability in commercial proposals
- Strong commercial acumen with experience structuring deals and partnerships
- Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and C-suite clients
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and unlock new revenue streams
