About The Role
We are hiring a highly confident and organised individual to add to our dedicated Commercial team.
As Business Development Manager, you will build a pipeline, engage with prospective clients, understand their needs, and seamlessly match them with our services, leveraging the full range of solutions offered by Eventim.
Highly commercial, you put the client at the heart of everything you do. You have previous experience in a field sales or business development role, driving growth and tangible results through new business.
Tenacious and resilient, you are a self-starter with the drive and determination to succeed and demonstrable experience of delivering against targets. You are confident with technology and eager to learn new tools and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation: Identify and research new business opportunities, with a primary focus on visitor attractions and heritage sites.
- Pitching & Closing: Lead the pitch process from initial contact through to close, including building bespoke, client-specific commercial proposals.
- Relationship Management: Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers and act as a brand ambassador at industry events.
- Pipeline Management: Own your sales pipeline and accurately forecast revenue within CRM systems.
- Results: Meet and exceed pre-agreed targets.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with our customer success and technology team to ensure a smooth client onboarding process.
Skills & Experience
Essential skills and qualifications
- Sales Experience: Proven experience in a proactive sales or business development role, with demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of client-specific commercial deals, pricing models, and contract negotiation.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal, presentation, and relationship-building skills to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Organisation: Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities effectively
Desirable skills and qualifications
- Experience within the ticketing, attractions, or live events industry
- Existing network of industry contacts
- Tech proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Passion for quality and keen attention to detail
- Full UK driving license to travel to client meetings around the UK
- University degree or equivalent level reached through experience
Renumeration:
·Competitive remuneration commensurate with experience and location
·Business mileage paid for travel to/from client meetings
Place of Work:
- You can be based in either London or Nottingham as your primary place of work. We operate a hybrid policy where staff can work from home at least 1 day a week.
