We provide a highly personalised, consultative service tailored to each client's unique needs—whether it's organising an intimate dinner for 10 or managing a large-scale international conference for 800.

As a dynamic and passionate Event Manager, you will be at the heart of our mission to create exceptional, tailor-made events. You will work closely with our team and clients to manage a diverse range of projects from start to finish, from intimate dinners to large-scale international conferences. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual eager to develop their skills in event management (approximately 30%), venue sourcing (approximately 70%), and client relations within a fast-paced, creative agency.
We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of the events industry who thrives on delivering outstanding results. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience and is driven to build strong relationships with clients and suppliers while managing multiple projects simultaneously and keeping a keen eye on the commercial details.
Key Responsibilities- Client & Project Management: Collaborate with clients and the internal team to understand event briefs, manage expectations, and ensure seamless communication throughout the event life cycle.
- Financial & Commercial Management: Manage event budgets, ensuring projects are delivered profitably. Includes budget tracking, financial reconciliation, and maintaining a strong commercial awareness in all client and supplier negotiations.
- Venue & Supplier Sourcing: Research and propose venues and destinations. Negotiate contracts and secure the best rates and concessions with suppliers to deliver maximum value for our clients.
- Proposal Creation: Develop professional, detailed event proposals using Google Sheets and Google Slides, ensuring information is accurate and aligned with the client's vision. Confident in presenting options if required.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients and suppliers, providing excellent service to meet and exceed needs.
- On-site Management: Take on event management responsibilities, either independently or as part of a team, to ensure smooth on-site execution.
- Administrative Support: Maintain and update all project files, tracking actions, deadlines, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay current with trends and expand knowledge of venues and destinations by attending industry events, site inspections, and educational trips.
- Experience: At least two years of experience in the events industry is preferred, ideally within the MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events) sector.
- Financial & Commercial Acumen: Comfortable managing event budgets from quoting to final reconciliation, with solid commercial awareness in negotiations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail for accurate proposals and complex logistics.
- Problem-Solving: Proactive, self-motivated approach to tackling challenges and delivering results.
- Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Google Suite (Sheets, Slides, etc.).
- Flexibility: Ability to manage multiple live projects and deadlines while adapting to a hybrid work environment (1-2 days in Central London). Willingness to travel overseas, with some evenings and weekends.
- Travel: Willingness to travel for site inspections and on-site event management.
