THE CHALLENGE
Eventbrite is shaking up a massive industry that’s ready for transformation. As a Bilingual Business Development Representative, you\’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients across Europe. You’ll generate demand, build interest, and create excitement for Eventbrite, while feeding a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities to our Business Development Managers.

You’ll work with EMEA-based event organizers who manage everything from music festivals and concert venues to endurance events, beer festivals, business conferences, and more. Our horizontal platform means every client conversation is different. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution. THE TEAM
The Business Development team is a dynamic, collaborative group with diverse professional and cultural backgrounds—former event professionals, commercial experts, and seasoned sellers. Our job is to engage prospects, spark valuable conversations, and generate qualified leads for our Business Development Managers.
We speak multiple languages, cover multiple regions, and partner with organizers from all corners of Europe to turn their vision into unforgettable live experiences.
THE ROLE
This role is crucial in building Eventbrite’s pipeline and brand presence across European markets. As a Bilingual Business Development Representative, you\’ll be responsible for identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers through outbound outreach and market research.
You’ll speak with decision-maker prospects, ask insightful questions to understand their needs, and determine whether Eventbrite’s solution is a good fit. You’re confident, curious, and resilient—you handle objections with ease, and your energy motivates people to take action.
You’ll learn how to navigate different cultures and business environments, becoming an expert in both the event industry and Eventbrite’s platform. Your mission: start meaningful conversations that lead to long-term customer relationships.
YOU WILL
Proactively reach out to potential clients in English and another European language (e.g., Spanish, German, French, Italian, Dutch)
Create a strong pipeline by generating and qualifying new leads across EMEA regions
Conduct discovery calls to understand client goals, pain points, and event needs
Tailor your messaging to each prospect, based on industry, region, and use case
Collaborate closely with Business Development Managers to pass along high-quality opportunities
Maintain accurate lead and opportunity tracking in our CRM (Salesforce)
Build market expertise by staying informed about event industry trends and competitor activity
Consistently meet or exceed outreach and lead generation KPIs
THE SKILL SET
2+ years of experience in a sales or commercial role in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
Fluent in English and at least one other European language (German, Dutch, Spanish, French, or Italian preferred)
Strong interpersonal and communication skills across different cultures and languages
A consultative, listener-first mindset and the ability to lead sales conversations
Ability to ask the right questions and uncover prospect pain points
Highly motivated, resilient, and comfortable with outbound outreach
Proficient with CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce), Google Workspace, and sales tools
BONUS POINTS
Prior experience with cold-calling or high-volume outreach
Familiarity with the live event, ticketing, or SaaS industries
Experience working across multiple markets in Europe
