Catering: Full Time Customer Service & Data Entry in Cambridge / Boston Line, On the "T". Are you interested in catering, special events or HR? Do you have great admin skills? We've got a fun casual office near Kendall Square & the Galleria Mall and we're seeking a highly motivated, experienced customer service pro.
Compensation for the Customer Service and Data Entry: $16 to $17 / hr.
Hours & Duties for Customer Service & Data Entry:
- Monday through Friday 9-5, Tuesdays until 6pm, plus one Saturday per month.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain well organized email and phone correspondence with our catering clients.
- Data entry of job order information, and posting to our online platform.
- Update of existing data.
- Retrieve client and staff data from electronic files as needed.
- Interface with clients, colleagues and temp staff in a professional manner.
- Type fast, be client-centered not self-centered, like pizza and Chinese food.
- Help out with uniforms, pay checks, directions.
- Smile even when you don't feel like it.
Required Qualifications:
- At least 1 year customer service & data entry experience in a professional office setting.
- Fast typing skills and ability to learn new software.
- Associates degree or equivalent experience with demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and knowledge of general office machines and telephone system.
- Sensitivity to the needs of a diverse community and a high degree of discretion dealing with confidential information.
- Friendly disposition and calm under pressure and willing to pitch in wherever and whenever the need arises.
