Role Description:
We are seeking a Lead Traffic Management Operative to join our team in Coventry. This is a hands-on, on-site role where you will take responsibility for overseeing traffic management operations at a variety of events. You will play a key role in ensuring safe and efficient traffic flow, supervising teams, and maintaining high operational standards in fast-paced environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, implement, and oversee traffic management strategies on event sites
- Lead and supervise a team of traffic management operatives
- Ensure safe and effective traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians
- Manage and deploy traffic management equipment and signage
- Liaise with event organisers, local authorities, and key stakeholders
- Monitor operations in real-time and respond to emerging challenges
- Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations
- Deliver high levels of customer service to the public and clients

Qualifications & Requirements:
- Experience in Traffic Management and/or Event Operations
- Traffic Management training up to M6 level preferred

- Good understanding of health and safety regulations
- Previous relevant experience or formal training (highly desirable)
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
