We are seeking a vigilant and dependable Night Time Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. The ideal candidate will possess strong observational skills, a professional demeanour, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. This paid position offers an opportunity to contribute to the safety of our organisation while developing valuable security skills. We have upcoming events taking place both in & outside of London; please note accommodation will be provided for any events attended outside of London.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular patrols of the site to identify potential security threats or hazards.
  • Enforce loss prevention policies by deterring theft, vandalism, or unauthorised access.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies, including providing first aid if necessary.
  • Maintain detailed records of incidents, patrols, and observations in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • Control access points by verifying identification and issuing visitor passes as required.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services during critical situations.

Skills

  • Proven experience with surveillance systems and CCTV operation – SIA trained personnel.
  • Strong understanding of loss prevention techniques and best practices.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure in emergency situations.
  • Knowledge of basic first aid procedures and emergency response protocols.
  • Excellent observational skills with keen attention to detail.
