Company: Event Management Services

Salary: Self employed opportunity - receiving 70% of ticket sale profits

Event Management Services (EMS) is actively seeking partnerships with motivated individuals to collaborate in facilitating an outdoor cinema event in 2027.

(Ideally, you reside or would be willing to travel to Cambridge so that you can be present when the live event date approaches)

Our dedicated team will support you throughout the entire planning and execution process, including essential tasks such as acquiring venue permits, sourcing event infrastructure, outdoor cinema equipment - including an LED screen, fencing, seating, power, technical equipment, a booking system, a foyer area, and food and drink facilities, liaising with local authorities, and attending Safety Advisory Group (SAG) meetings. This will allow you to concentrate on front-of-house operations, including event promotion and ticket sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote and market the event through social media platforms
  • Engage with local community groups and relevant online channels
  • Develop relationships with local businesses, organizations, and community groups
  • Drive ticket sales through outreach and networking
  • Connect with local promoters
  • Provide customers with essential event information
  • Attend the event to enhance the overall customer experience
  • Collaborate with EMS staff during the event

You are not required to purchase any cinema equipment.

This partnership operates on a profit-sharing basis, with a 70/30 split. EMS will receive 30%, while you will retain 70% of the ticket sales your event generates after covering all event-related costs (e.g., venue fees, staffing).

Please note that this is a self-employed opportunity. If you are interested in joining our team to facilitate this exciting outdoor cinema, we would love to hear from you.

No prior event management experience is required; however, transferable skills in event planning, social media proficiency, or a robust local network would be advantageous.
