Position: Stage Crew
Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne
Schedule: Zero hour contract

Responsibilities

• Assist with the setup and breakdown of stage equipment, props, scenery, and lighting.
• Move, assemble, and operate stage elements during rehearsals and performances.
• Ensure backstage areas remain safe, clean, and organized.
• Work closely with the stage manager, technical director, and performers.
• Follow cues accurately during live shows.

Requirements

• Ability to lift and move heavy objects.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and long shifts as needed.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and attention to detail.
• Previous backstage or technical theater experience is a plus, but not required—training provided!
