We’re on the lookout for a Producer to join our Projects Team, specialising in delivering exceptional guest experience across a variety of B2B events. You will lead on the development, production and delivery of our agency‑based projects from conception to execution, managing budgets of up to £500k.
Who are you?
You’re a true event professional with solid experience in live, hybrid and digital events. You’re an experienced producer/senior project manager with a background in creative event agencies, DMCs or extended freelance capacity, with live events as your primary focus. You’re the primary contact for day‑to‑day client communications and the main project driver and budget owner. You naturally gravitate to other discipline specialists, acting as the linchpin pulling all elements of a successful event together efficiently and effectively.
You have extensive knowledge in guest experience, including guest logistics and event management, and are comfortable managing venues, caterers, DMCs, speakers, security, VIP guest management and accreditation. You have a working knowledge of creative and live show production and work comfortably alongside specialists in those fields. You’re a passionate project manager and a strong communicator, both in person and in written content, with excellent attention to detail. You remain calm under pressure and get situations sorted even when plans shift. You have a strong track record delivering complex events with big budgets in a variety of sectors (conference, awards, experiential, dinners). You push boundaries while keeping the project budget in mind and find the best solutions to maximise impact for our clients. You maintain a strong black book of suppliers and confidently manage relationships, negotiating budgets and driving timelines. You love logistics and enjoy ensuring all guest movements are on time and event schedules are always up to date. You always consider the guest experience in every aspect of planning and delivery and make sure every touch point is considered. You have experience delivering events internationally and can adapt your approach to fit local cultures. You enjoy travel, work effectively on the road with global client teams and across time zones. Day‑to‑day responsibilities:
- Exploring, interpreting and understanding client briefs while working alongside the Client Director/Account Director/Strategist on proposals and RFQs from pitch and scoping stage.
- Actively taking part in live pitches when required, alongside Client Director/Account Director.
- Sitting as part of the projects team, leading on projects with budgets up to ÂŁ500k.
- Providing clients with best practice and cutting‑edge solutions for their projects, be that live, digital or hybrid.
- Running the project from start to finish, developing and driving the event from initial concept through to final reconciliation, ensuring KPIs are met and deliverables stay true to the overarching strategy.
- Main point of contact for client teams during pre‑production, production and live phases, acting as the day‑to‑day client lead and owning all communications, calls and meetings.
- Project‑based ownership of our project management tools such as project packs, decks and trackers.
- Driver of the main experience design, working closely with creative teams on all design elements as well as ownership of floor plans/layouts, guest journey and programming.
- Leading project teams comprising of Project Coordinators, Production Managers and Creatives, supported by Technical Directors/Project Directors as needed.
- Establishing clear communication and review channels, ensuring that the brief, scope and budget are fully understood by everyone involved.
- Project budget management and ownership, ensuring we deliver to clients’ budgets with proven commercial nous, while hitting required profit markers on project return.
- Scheduling, progress tracking and post‑event reporting.
- Acting as a segment owner within core teams on larger projects, taking ownership of your speciality area (creative production/live show/event management/hospitality) within an overarching experience.
- Bridging the gap between experiential and B2B in your approach, bringing the best elements from both into the other in line with our agency mission.
Governance & Process:
Working with the Operations Director to ensure health and safety processes are complied with. You’ll champion RAMS and HSE and ensure none of it gets dropped when we are busy.
