About the Role
Our Senior Producers are at the heart of making it happen, leading on the development, production and delivery of our largest agency-based projects, from conception to execution, managing budgets of ÂŁ500kâÂŁ1m+ and/or projects that are global or highly complex. Reporting into the Head of Projects, the Senior Producer works sideâbyâside with our Client Director and Account Director(s), acting as the key driver and main client contact on projects from scoping stage to reconciliation.
Who are you?
- Youâre an experienced producer with significant experience within a similar role within event or production agencies, or in an extended freelance capacity in the same sector, with creative conferencing/B2B experience as your primary focus.
- Youâre comfortable with being the primary contact for dayâtoâday client communications on your projects as well as being the main project driver.
- Youâre a collaborative worker, you naturally gravitate to other discipline specialists, acting as the linchpin pulling all elements of a successful event together efficiently and effectively.
- You have extensive creative production, live show and event management knowledge, with particular experience in creative production across B2B experiences.
- You have a solid understanding of the full lifecycle and process of a project â from pitch and creative concept through to onâsite delivery â with the ability to manage all of the elements in between.
- Youâre a passionate project manager and a strong communicator, both in person and in written content, with excellent attention to detail.
- You donât get phased under pressure, youâre the consummate professional. Even when something isnât going quite according to plan, you remain calm and get the situation sorted.
- Youâre not afraid to push boundaries but also understand there will always need to be a natural balance between creative and delivery.
- Youâre comfortable with clients. You are experienced in speaking with them and analysing a brief to ensure that what we produce for them meets, or better still exceeds, their requirements.
- Youâre comfortable juggling multiple projects at once and can effectively manage your time while ensuring your team is communicated with and understands your workload.
- Youâre happy to share ideas for new initiatives and ways of working and equally happy to hear other peopleâs ideas.
- Youâre commercially astute. You push boundaries, whilst keeping the project budget in mind and can weigh up the best solutions to maximise impact for our clients.
- You have a strong black book of suppliers, freelancers and fixers and are confident in managing relationships with them including project briefing, negotiating budgets, and driving timelines.

Dayâtoâday responsibilities:
- Client & brief ownership: Understand and interpret client briefs, working closely with the Client Director/Account Director/Strategist from pitch through scoping. Actively participate in live pitches and proposal development. Act as the main client contact throughout preâproduction, production and delivery, owning dayâtoâday communications, meetings and expectations.
- Project leadership: Lead projects of all sizes, with a focus on largeâscale or complex work. Run events endâtoâend, taking responsibility for development, delivery and final reconciliation. Ensure KPIs are met and work stays aligned to the overall strategic approach. Own and manage all project tools including packs, decks and trackers. Drive experience design â collaborating with creative teams on visual direction, layouts, guest journey, programming and all design elements. Lead crossâfunctional project teams (Producers, Production Managers, Creatives, Production leads and Coordinators).
- Quality, delivery & process: Provide clients with best practice, innovative solutions across live, digital and hybrid formats. Ensure clear communication channels across the project team, making sure scope, brief and budget are fully understood. Own project budgets endâtoâend, showing strong commercial judgement and delivering profitable outcomes. Manage scheduling, progress tracking and postâevent reporting. Contribute to improving team processes, tools and workflows. Confidently bridge experiential and B2B approaches, bringing the best of both worlds into your projects.
- Team management: Provide highâlevel oversight of decks, drawings, plans and proposals across your team, ensuring outputs are accurate and add value. Act as an escalation point for project challenges. Make sure internal processes (timesheets, expenses) are followed. Work with HR on recruitment, performance cycles and general HR processes. Line management: Hold regular 1:1s, keeping communication open and giving your team clarity on expectations and success measures. Lead probation reviews, annual appraisals and engagement with internal surveys. Ensure your team knows where to find People processes in Trainual and come to you with questions. Be an active member of the Line Manager community â attending meetings, staying up to date and cascading key messages to your reports. Act as Hiring Manager where needed, following our recruitment processes. Lead onboarding for new starters, working with the People Team to ensure learning plans and support are in place. Keep an eye on wellbeing and workload, looping in the People Team when additional support is needed. Support and manage any performance or conduct concerns appropriately. Lead by example and champion our values.
- Governance & process: Working with the Operations Director to ensure health and safety processes are complied with. Youâll be a champion for RAMS and HSE and ensure none of it gets dropped when we are busy.
