About the Role
We’re looking for a Junior Florist to join our team at Veevers Carter. You’ll play a key role in supporting the floral team with day-to-day operations, from conditioning flowers and maintaining the studio to assisting with event installations and plant care. This role offers hands-on training in event floristry and the chance to work collaboratively on creative, fast-paced projects.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Helping to keep our floral studio clean, tidy, and well
- Conditioning flowers and prepping them with care, ready for arrangements and installations
- Counting, checking, and allocating flowers to ensure everything’s in place for our florists to create
- Supporting freelance florists across a variety of projects, big and small
- Working closely with the team to bring floral installations to life on-site at events
- Ensuring all events are packed down smoothly and efficiently, keeping things running like clockwork
- Caring for plants in our studio, garden, and office, keeping everything green and gorgeous
- Gaining hands-on experience and on-the-job training in event floristry, with support every step of the way
- Helping to maintain an organised workspace, including restocking, waste management, and keeping materials in order.
- Being open to learning new techniques and floristry skills from senior florists and mentors.
- Following health and safety protocols in the studio and on-site.
