London Full-Time On-site

Even Realities is an AI and consumer technology company dedicated to creating innovative, human-centered wearable products. With a growing global presence across North America, Europe, and Asia, we are building the next generation of smart eyewear and intelligent wearable experiences.

As we continue to expand our business and grow our global PR team, we are looking for a Europe Communications Manager to spearhead our public relations and communications efforts in the region. Europe is one of our most important markets, and this hire will shape how the region comes to know us.

About the role

We are hiring our first in-house PR manager in Europe to own the company's voice across the UK and the wider European market. This role will report to the Global Communications Lead. You will build our regional communications function from the ground up, set strategy, run our agency partners, and be the person UK and European media call first about Even Realities.

This is a senior, hands‑on role. You will shape the plan and also pick up the phone, write the pitch, and sit in the room with journalists. You will work closely with the global communications team, product, marketing, and leadership to make sure every launch, story, and moment lands in Europe with the right local angle. This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up and to really own and drive communications for the brand in Europe.

What you'll do

Strategy and leadership

  • Build and lead the European communications strategy, aligned to global priorities and tailored to the UK, France, Germany, and other key markets in the region.
  • Set clear goals and measure impact through share of voice, message pull‑through, coverage quality, and contribution to commercial results.
  • Advise leadership on European market dynamics, media sentiment, and reputational opportunities and risks.

Media relations

  • Own all media relations activities in the UK, including building a UK‑focused news engine to generate consistent media coverage; develop quarterly or half‑year PR campaigns to drive greater brand awareness in the UK.
  • Own relationships with top‑tier UK and European media across consumer technology, business, finance, and lifestyle press.
  • Secure high‑impact coverage for product launches, company news, and executive thought leadership.
  • Brief and prepare spokespeople for interviews, panels, and press events.
  • Manage European review programs and product seeding with journalists, analysts, and creators (organic opportunities only).

Agency management

  • Manage PR agencies across Europe and drive consistent media placements alongside them.
  • Hold agencies accountable for quality, creativity, and results, and keep regional work consistent with the global brand.

Launches, events, and programs

  • Localize global launches for European audiences and lead regional press moments.
  • Drive the communications presence at major European events, as designated with the Even Realities marketing team.
  • Partner with marketing, social, brand, and retail teams on integrated campaigns to drive greater brand awareness in the region.

Issues and corporate communications

  • Lead regional issues and crisis response, including privacy and data topics that matter to European audiences.
  • Support corporate milestones such as partnerships, funding news, and leadership announcements in the region.

What you bring

  • 8–10+ years of experience in communications, with a strong track record in consumer technology, consumer electronics, or a closely related category.
  • Established, active media relationships with UK national, consumer tech, business, and lifestyle media, plus a working network across key European markets.
  • Proven experience leading communications for Europe, either in‑house or at an agency, across multiple countries and languages.
  • Hands‑on experience selecting and managing PR agencies across several markets, including budgets, briefs, and performance.
  • Excellent media relations skills, with a portfolio of top‑tier coverage you personally secured.
  • Experience running product launches, review programs, and press events from planning through execution.
  • Strong writing and editing skills, from press releases and pitches to executive talking points and messaging.
  • Sound judgment under pressure and experience handling sensitive issues or crises.
  • Comfort working in a fast‑moving, global company across time zones, with teams in Asia and the U.S.
  • Right to work in the UK; must be able to work in‑office in Soho, London.

Nice to have

  • Experience with wearables, eyewear, audio, AR, or AI products.
  • Relationships with design, fashion, and lifestyle media in addition to tech press.
  • Fluency in German, French, or another major European language.
  • Experience launching a hardware brand or entering a new market in Europe.
