We're seeking a talented individual to join our Central support Paraplanning team, which is responsible for providing support to our Financial Planners while ensuring a positive experience for Evelyn Partners clients. In this role you will also support financial planners with client meetings including presentation of cashflow and preparing responses on technical matters.
As a Paraplanner at Evelyn Partners you will have access to a structured training programme, offering Training & Competency oversight to excel personal development. We encourage continuous professional development via ongoing studying and qualifications, and you will have the opportunity to collaborate with and learn from a team of experienced Paraplanners and Financial Advisers.
This role is a remote opportunity to work with the central support Paraplanning team nationwide.
Some of your responsibilities will be to:
- Prepare suitability reports across a wide range of advice types, financial products, and investment solutions.
- Support financial planners with client meetings including presentation of cashflow and other duties such as preparing responses on technical matters.
- Carry out any necessary technical research.
- Ensure client records contain sufficient Know Your Client (KYC) information to demonstrate suitability of our advice, and that they are kept accurate and up to date at all times.
- Ensure that the preparation of advice for clients is of the highest quality and delivered in an efficient manner whilst mitigating any risks to the business and assisting with the achievement of business targets.
- Communicate effectively with the Financial Planners to manage expected delivery dates.
- Manage process, tasks and comply with FCA guidelines.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Must be qualified within Financial Planning CII Level 4 or above.
- Demonstrable experience of paraplanning gained with a proven solid technical knowledge.
- Proven track record of delivering written financial advice.
- Experience of completing suitability reports while researching and analysing products.
- Strong knowledge of financial products.
- Good organisation and prioritisation skills; able to work independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Good stakeholder management with positive influencing skills.
- Literacy, numerical and analytical skills are essential.
