What will you be doing?

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team in Glasgow. This is a varied, high volume, and fast paced role. You will support the client adviser in servicing employee benefits arrangements, delivering the scheme support function for employee benefit clients to a high standard and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include, among others:

  • Draft written reports and suitability letters relating to client specific cases
  • Liaise with insurers, introducing firms, payroll administrators, etc. to ensure benefits are established in line with client requirements and scheme renewals are managed effectively
  • Obtain illustrations from insurers along with technical information, performance enquiries and general provider information
  • Manage and grow a desk-based portfolio of clients with support from consultants
  • Communicate with clients via telephone, MS Teams, e-mail, and in writing, in a timely and professional manner, and when required attend meetings to support the adviser
  • Ensure that all chargeable client work is recorded daily, organise the timely production of fee invoices and support adviser in managing WIP, debtors, and profitability of clients

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Excellent client service skills – previous employee benefits experience is essential for this role
  • Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems
  • Experience of report and letter writing

  • Strong academic history
  • Relevant professional qualifications an advantage, although not essential
