Weโre seeking a talented individual to join our Digital Compliance Team in Bristol, although we will be flexible on location for the right individual. The team is responsible for the implementation of continuous improvement within the internal business process to improve efficiencies, reduce risk, and be a catalyst for change. Opportunity to work with colleagues of all levels including Partners and Directors and exposure to different areas of Tax, software, and technology. Liaising and managing communications with Partners and driving change within the business opportunity to identify improvements and deliver change. Reporting to the Chief Digital Officer, you will be responsible for driving innovation, developing automation, and data analytic solutions. As Project Manager for the Digital Compliance Team, your responsibilities will include: Coordination of the Tax Technology solutions team on multiple projects, ensuring the teams are completing projects on time and working closely with technology vendors to ensure delivery. Management of secondees in the team and reporting into the Chief Digital Officer looking at process improvement. Managing projects within the Digital Compliance Team implementing continuous improvement within internal business processes to improve efficiencies and reduce risk. Key responsibilities: Tax Programme Work: Coordinate the delivery of project work with key stakeholders; take a lead role in the digitisation of the tax businesses; drive change within the business and build relationships to provide the required support and training to teams. Designing, developing, and managing multiple compliance projects. Developing knowledge of new software and automation to enhance compliance processes. Production of reporting for weekly/monthly stakeholder meetings. Staff & Stakeholder Management: Management of secondees in the team; liaise with vendors managing external projects. To be successful in this role, you should have: Education/Qualifications: Tax/technology/Project Management Qualifications preferable but not required. Key Experience/Skills: A solid knowledge of private client tax compliance is essential. Proven experience of managing a project portfolio and evidence of working on process automation projects with the ability to present complex digital solutions simply to the wider tax practice. Strong IT skills including practical knowledge of Microsoft Office packages; Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and project planning software. Experience in staff management/supervisory roles.
