Operations Executive – Position Maintenance at Evelyn Partners. This role is based in Glasgow and follows a hybrid working pattern (office 3 days per week).

What will you be doing?

Join the Operations team in Glasgow to perform all daily duties associated with Position Maintenance functions to a high standard, ensuring work is completed accurately and on time and client requirements are prioritised. Adhere to controls, regulatory guidelines and procedures relevant to Position Maintenance. This is a hybrid role with an office requirement of 3 days per week.

  • Ensure all tasks are completed to a high standard, meet deadlines, and report anomalies to your line manager within agreed timescales.
  • Meet personal and team KPI\’s / KRI\’s / MIR; assist in collating MI and highlight issues to management.
  • Respond to telephone, email and system enquiries promptly; liaise with external parties and escalate where needed.
  • Log, maintain and respond to written client enquiries; ensure client and external documents are current and relevant.
  • Maintain a high-quality culture to minimise errors and deliver high service levels; ensure accuracy in data input and document checking; escalate to manager or relevant department when necessary.
  • Ensure fair treatment of clients and conduct all interactions openly and transparently.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Demonstrable interest in financial services, particularly investment management.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office: Word (basic) and Excel (intermediate).
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate well in writing and verbally to senior audiences.
  • Ability to understand and summarise complex information, solve problems quickly with high accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines; flexible approach to team priorities.
  • Respond to queries from internal and external parties with a high level of customer service.

Desirable

  • Settlement operations experience within a financial institution (advantageous but not essential).
  • For candidates with no relevant experience, Scottish Higher / GCSEs (or equivalent) at level C or higher in relevant subjects.
  • Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., CISI Investment Operations Certificate) desirable but not essential.
