What will you be doing? We're seeking a talented individual to join our Fees team in Liverpool, which is responsible for all aspects of Account Opening and Maintenance, primarily in Fees administration, helping out on Account Opening, Static Data, Internal account reconciliations etc. This is a hybrid working role with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.
As an Operations Executive, your responsibilities will include among others:
- Fees responsibilities: maintaining fee static data on various systems, loading fee rates onto new accounts, processing fee debits, refunds and reversals; validate fee documentation; provide fee guidance to branches; manage mailbox; answer calls regarding fees; liaise with platform providers and Finance; assist the team with ongoing fee projects.
- Help out teams within the same stream and departments as and when required (training provided).
- Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise error, ensuring quality service levels and high standards are delivered.
- High levels of accuracy and ability to work within tight deadlines are essential.
- Ability to liaise effectively and constructively with internal and external companies and provide assistance to their queries.
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar background with a passion for numbers.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
- Strong interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to various audiences, including senior audiences.
- Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to solve problems quickly, organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
- Responding to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and providing a high level of customer service.
- Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
- Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate / CII Certificate in Financial Services / CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, desirable but not essential.
