Job Description

What will you be doing?

We’re seeking a talented Senior Risk Manager to join our team in London on a 12 month FTC, which is responsible for assisting in a wide-ranging aspect of development and business-as-usual activities across the risk management framework.

Given the nature of Evelyn Partners' business, the main risks it faces are operational in nature and you will assist in the development and embedding of the Group Risk Management Framework, day-to-day operation of the Group's risk management processes and actively engage with the business with regard to risk related matters.

  • As Senior Risk Manager, your responsibilities will include among others:
  • Preparing and delivering risk management workshops with the business in order to implement the risk management framework.
  • The completion of the Key Risk Assessment and Appetite statements and assist the business in the process of capturing, assessing, reporting and escalation of risk events.
  • The development and production of top-down key risk assessments and scenario analysis.
  • Assist in the production of the Group’s Internal Capital and Risk Assessment (ICARA)
  • Assist and develop the Group’s Key Risk Dashboard and other monthly reporting.
  • Assist and guide the business in the completion of the Risk and Control Self Assessments.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should

  • Proven experience in risk management, ideally gained within an investment or wealth management organisation.
  • Confidence to lead and present work to all levels up to, and including the Board.
  • Ability to work well in pressurised environment with demonstratable ability to prioritise work.
  • Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be a team player.

Desired

  • Educated to degree level, equivalent or ability to demonstrate equivalent experience.
  • Relevant professional qualification(s) advantageous, although not essential with requisite experience.
