What will you be doing?
We’re seeking a talented Business Development Director to join our team in London, responsible for driving new-to-brand client growth across the UK through a focused, vertical-led business development strategy. You will lead growth for our Entrepreneurs client vertical, operating at a senior, market-facing level. The Business Development Director sets direction, builds high-value introducer and partner networks, and converts strategic opportunities into sustainable growth for the firm, combining strategic leadership, senior relationship management and commercial execution. You will be supported by a Business Development Associate, who provides executional, analytical and coordination support across activity, pipeline and initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of new-to-brand client growth across the entrepreneur vertical and translate firm-wide growth priorities into clear entrepreneur specific business development plans, aligned to market opportunity and target client profiles.
- Build, manage and deepen strategic introducer relationships (professional firms, advisors, intermediaries and centres of influence).
- Act as the senior point of contact for priority partners, developing trusted, long-term relationships that generate consistent referral flow.
- Identify and unlock new introducer opportunities aligned to target client segments and vertical strategy, overseeing pipeline development across the entrepreneur vertical, ensuring opportunities are well-qualified, prioritised and progressed.
- Act as a senior ambassador for the firm across the market, representing Evelyn at events, roundtables, seminars and industry forums, building personal profile and credibility within target sectors to support long-term brand and relationship development.
- Work closely with Marketing, Client Teams and senior stakeholders to ensure a joined-up approach to growth and feed market insight, introducer intelligence and client feedback back into vertical strategy and proposition development.

- Strong understanding of the wealth management and intermediary environment.
- Strong network of intermediaries and business introducers.
- Demonstrable experience and success in business development, in a commercial/professional services environment.
- Outstanding relationship building skills, internally and with potential clients, intermediaries and contacts.
- Strong people management skills, with previous team management experience and the ability to motivate and influence others to deliver.
- Strong project management skills, with multiple stakeholders in a matrix structure.
