What will you be doing? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Fees team in Liverpool on a 6 month FTC, which is responsible for all aspects of Account Opening and Maintenance, primarily in Fees administration, helping out on Account Opening, Static Data, Internal account reconciliations etc. This is a hybrid working role with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week.

As an Operations Executive, your responsibilities will include among others:

  • Fees responsibilities: e.g. maintaining fee static data on various systems, loading fee rates onto new accounts, processing fee debits, refunds and reversals; validate fee documentation; provide fee guidance to branches; man mailbox: answers calls regarding fees; liaising with platform providers and Finance; assist the team with ongoing fee projects etc.
  • Help out teams within the same stream and departments as and when required (training provided).
  • Adopt a high-quality culture to minimise error, ensuring quality service levels and high standards are delivered.
  • High levels of accuracy and ability to work within tight deadlines are essential.
  • Ability to liaise effectively and constructively with internal and external companies and provide assistance to their queries.

To be successful in this role, you should:

  • Have a Mathematics, Economics, Finance or similar background with a passion for numbers.
  • Possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages: Minimum basic level Word and intermediate level Excel.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate well both written and verbally to various audiences, including senior audiences.
  • Demonstrate ability to understand and summarise complex information in a professional and concise manner, with high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Be able to solve problems quickly, organise workloads effectively and meet tight deadlines.
  • Respond to queries from both internal and external parties in a timely manner and provide a high level of customer service.
  • Experience gained within a financial services institution especially in Operations is advantageous but not essential.
  • Relevant professional qualifications e.g. CISI Investment Operations Certificate / CII Certificate in Financial Services / CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, desirable but not essential.
