Band 2 Facilities Porter in Birmingham

Position

Facilities Porter – Part‑time (18.75‑hour contract)

Location

West Heath Hospital, with possible coverage at other BCHC sites.

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive support to the Facilities team, ensuring the smooth running of the hospital environment. Work with the Site Facilities Co‑coordinator, attend necessary training courses, and adhere to Infection Prevention and Control policies and other relevant National and Trust policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Good standard of education to GCSE level; basic literacy, numeracy and verbal/written English skills. Medical Gas training is required.

Hours and Flexibility

Monday to Sunday: 18.75 hours per week (pro rota) to be flexible, including day and night duty, weekends and Bank Holidays.

Training & Support

You will receive a comprehensive training package, work with a uniform, and receive ongoing support from the Facilities team.
