Applications are invited for vacancies with the corporate division of BCHC Trust. We have an opportunity within one of our health centres based in the Walmley, Sutton Coldfield area, to appoint a part-time receptionist. Walmley Health Centre is one of our most established centres that holds a number of BCHC services and needs hardworking, reliable and friendly staff. This position is part-time Monday – Friday, 12:30am – 16:30pm.
The successful candidate must have excellent organizational and communication skills, be motivated and enthusiastic to ensure that a quality and efficient service is provided to the clinical teams. The post holder must have the ability to work on their own initiative. They will also need to be able to prioritize their workload and work under pressure to meet agreed deadlines.
The Receptionist is an integral part of the Health Centre and is often the first point of contact for patients and visitors on arrival. You should have excellent keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Windows-based computer packages, in particular Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. You will need to have an awareness of the confidentiality and equality issues associated with working in a Clinical Support Services environment.
The post may require you to undertake duties at other centers across the trust due to service demand and changes. This will be discussed and agreed with you prior to any changes.
When attending interviews, evidence of the necessary qualifications will be needed; otherwise, interviews will not take place.
