We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team in the Part Order Area. This hands-on role is responsible for accurately pulling parts, securely crating them according to order specifications, and completing all necessary documentation—both on paper and within our proprietary software system. The ideal candidate is a team player with strong organizational skills, capable of working safely with hand, power, and pneumatic tools, and operating an electric counterbalance lift. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Pull and verify parts accurately based on order requirements.
  • Prepare, crate, and secure parts for shipment to ensure safe transport.
  • Complete required shipping and order documentation both in paper form and electronically.
  • Operate various tools safely, including hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Operate electric counterbalance lift (walk behind forklift) as well as a ride-on forklift to move and stage materials (experience preferred).
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and other departments via Outlook email.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Experience operating an electric counterbalance lift and ride-on forklift preferred (certification a plus).
  • Ability to use hand, power, and pneumatic tools safely and effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook; general computer literacy required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach overhead.
  • Must be able to work in varying temperature environments typical of manufacturing and warehouse settings, including outdoor conditions.

  • The salary range consists of base pay and most recent profit-sharing bonus amounts.
