*One stage interviews taking place this week
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on IT Support Engineer to support a business during a period of organisational change and internal tooling migration.
Joining a small IT team, you’ll take ownership of day-to-day support, allowing senior colleagues to focus on the migration. The environment is predominantly Mac-based, so strong macOS and Google Workspace experience is particularly important.
Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of IT support tickets, resolving the majority independently and escalating when needed.
- Troubleshoot macOS devices and provide support across a smaller Windows estate.
- Administer and troubleshoot Google Workspace.
- Resolve user access and single sign-on issues through Okta.
- Respond to additional support issues arising from internal tooling migrations.
- Help address Cyber Essentials compliance gaps.
What we’re looking for
- Strong hands-on macOS support and troubleshooting experience.
- Solid Google Workspace administration experience, extending beyond basic account creation.
- Working knowledge of Okta and single sign-on.
- Experience handling 2nd line support issues with clear ownership and responsibility.
- Ability to get up to speed quickly, prioritise effectively and work with limited supervision.
- Some Windows support experience would be useful, although macOS is the priority.
- Duration: 6 months
- Start: ideally within two weeks, ahead of migration activity beginning at the end of October.
- Working pattern: hybrid, with 2 days in London per week
- Interview: 1 stage
The initial focus is operational support during the migration, with the potential for additional migration responsibilities as requirements develop.
