This is an essential manufacturing position within our production operation, responsible for producing bespoke bent curtain tracks and poles to customer specifications. Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll be involved in the manufacture, assembly, inspection and preparation of made-to-order products, ensuring every item meets our exacting quality standards. This role combines practical manufacturing skills with quality control and warehouse operations. Accuracy is critical, as every product is custom-made and directly impacts the customer experience and what we call the 'Evans Difference'.
Production
- Manufacture bespoke bent curtain tracks and poles to customer specification
- Operate specialist bending, cutting and assembly equipment safely and efficiently (full training provided)
- Assemble curtain tracks, poles and associated components in accordance with production instructions
- Interpret production paperwork and customer requirements accurately
- Carry out daily quality checks including measurement verification, fault detection and order verification
- Ensure all products are manufactured, labelled and packaged correctly to meet company quality standards
- Follow production schedules and standard operating procedures to meet daily targets
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workstation whilst minimising waste
- Assist with continuous improvement activities within the production department
Quality Control
- Maintain thorough product knowledge across the Evans range, with particular focus on bespoke track and pole systems
- Ensure all products meet specification before being released for dispatch
- Perform visual and dimensional quality inspections throughout the manufacturing process
- Liaise with your line manager, QA team or Customer Care Team to resolve quality queries
Other Duties
- May include working within the Picking operation or the Goods in/out department
- Understand how errors in picking, packing and production impact the business in time, cost and customer satisfaction
- Record and report customer returns, quality issues, missed deadlines and sample requests accurately and promptly
About You
We're looking for a motivated, dependable individual who takes pride in doing a job well. You'll be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to balance speed with accuracy — both are equally important here.

Previous manufacturing, assembly or warehouse production experience is advantageous but not essential. Experience working with made-to-order or bespoke products would be beneficial.
