To support this next stage of development, we are seeking an experienced Operations Director to lead a key manufacturing site and play a central role in integrating the business within the wider Group. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you will have full responsibility for manufacturing, engineering, warehousing and logistics, driving performance improvements while building a culture of operational excellence, accountability and continuous improvement. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future direction of a successful business, influence Group strategy and lead a significant transformation programme. Drive improvements in productivity, OEE, OTIF, Right First Time, waste reduction and asset utilisation. Lead the integration of the business into the wider Group, sharing best practice and building a high-performing culture. Ensure the highest standards of quality, compliance, health & safety and customer service. Coach, develop and inspire operational teams to deliver sustainable performance improvements. Deliver measurable financial and operational results through improved systems, processes and ways of working. We are interested in speaking with experienced Operations Directors, Manufacturing Directors, Site Directors, Plant Managers and Heads of Operations who have led complex manufacturing operations and successfully delivered operational change. Medium to high volume experience and understanding of the demands of running a complex manufacturing facility in a highly customer-centric environment and the ability to identify opportunities and know how to turn them in a commercial realty. Knowledge of Lean, Continuous Improvement and performance management techniques. Commercial awareness and the ability to translate operational improvements into business results. Exceptional people leadership skills and experience building high-performing teams. The credibility and resilience to lead during a period of growth, investment and transformation. Packaging, labels, FMCG, food & beverage, pharmaceutical manufacturing, life sciences, medical devices, personal care or other quality-driven manufacturing environments.
