As Wheel Technician at Evans Halshaw, you’ll be responsible for carrying out high-quality repairs and refurbishments on alloy wheels. You’ll spend your day diagnosing issues, preparing wheels for repair and completing refurbishment tasks to a high standard. You’ll collaborate with our Bodyshop team to ensure customer satisfaction and maintain the highest repair standards. You’ll be set up and supported with the resources, tools and experience you need to be at your best and bring out the best in others. Hard work and commitment go a long way here.   • Performing alloy wheel refurbishments including preparation, painting and finishing.
  • Diagnosing damage to wheels and determining the appropriate repair methods.
  • Complying with safety regulations to ensure all repairs meet the company’s quality standards.
  • Providing exceptional customer experiences ensuring all interactions exceed expectations.
  • Collaborate with the Bodyshop staff to ensure smooth workflow and high-quality results.
  • Continuously staying up to date on the latest repair techniques and technologies to continuously improve service quality.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar role, within the Bodyshop environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of alloy wheel repair techniques and materials.
  • Ability to diagnose issues accurately to determine effective repair solutions.
  • Customer focused mindset with excellent communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and finishes whilst having the drive to exceed expectations and targets.
