Our new Evans Halshaw site, Omoda & Jaecoo Sunderland are recruiting an Aftersales Manager to oversee their workshop, Service Advisors and Parts department. We are looking for a candidate with past automotive aftersales experience. Customer focus and providing excellent customer service is key. You will be a very driven and commercially minded candidate and be very comfortable in a target driven environment.

What does the role of an Aftersales Manager involve?

  • Ensure all warranty and repair work is carried out adheres to manufacturer and company standards
  • Maximise efficiency and profitability for the Service department through labour sales, parts and materials and constantly assessing against budget objectives
  • Management of accounts, budgets and costs for the whole department
  • Regular review of pricing policies and ensuring appropriate legislation is adhered to
  • Leading the team, setting clear targets and KPIs, to excel and over achieve these
  • Ensure and maintain a safe working environment and that processes are followed that adhere to health and safety regulations
  • Enhancing levels of customer service to achieve a high CSI score for the department

What do you need to succeed as an Aftersales Manager?

  • Experience in a target driven environment with the ability to lead and motivate a team to exceed targets
  • Passionate about providing exceptional levels of customer service to ensure customer retention
  • Proven background in running a successful workshop or parts department
  • Strong business acumen
