As Head of Business at Ford Trafford Park Commercials, you’ll be driving forward the financial results of the best CV automotive brand in the market, empowering your team to be the best they can be, whilst being fuelled by the potential to thrive in your career along the way. This is the perfect opportunity for an inspirational and collaborative individual to transform our business.

Working as a part of Ford Commercials, this is quite a bespoke role with multi-departmental responsibility including:

  • New Retail Commercial Sales
  • New Fleet Commercial Sales
  • Used Commercial Vehicle Sales
  • A dynamic Aftersales Department adhering to all things Ford PRO
  • An on-site bodyshop
  • Responsibility for the SMART repair operations throughout the North West
  • An on-site Vinyl Graphics Department
  • A parts department

You’ll be collaborating with the other Transit Centres across the UK within the group, reporting into a CV Director who will help you on your journey. This really is a dynamic role that requires multi-tasking and inspirational leadership to meet the needs of the commercial customers in the UK.

Your Journey as a Head of Business:

  • Being accountable for delivering top financial results across each department, by offering a first-class experience for your associates and customers.
  • Ensuring all processes and standards are met in line with FCA regulations, maintaining showroom excellence in line with manufacturer standards.
  • Champion outstanding customer service, coaching your team to deliver the same level of excellence throughout their respective teams.
  • Lead from the front on all aspects of your dealership, including new and used car sales, associated products, parts, labour and aftersales care.
  • Recruit, develop and retain talented associates, motivating them to be the best they can be and supporting them with regular reviews, training and progression plans.
  • Build meaningful manufacturer relationships by implementing brand strategies, policies and procedures to an exceptional level.

  • Knowledgeable of vehicle, consumer credit and trade practice legislation, with the ability to satisfy the requirements of GI Compliance and be of ‘good financial repute’.
  • Experienced in managing budgets and leading high performing teams, dedicated to motivating and coaching your team to be the best they can be.
