We're looking for a Finance Analyst to join our Commercial Finance team.

Reporting to the Central Finance Business Partner, you'll play an important role in delivering insightful reporting, analysing business performance and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation.

  • Your Journey as a Finance Analyst
  • Produce accurate weekly and monthly financial and operational reporting, including margin analysis, incentives and key performance indicators.
  • Analyse business performance, identifying trends, risks, opportunities and the key drivers behind financial variances.
  • Provide meaningful insight and commentary that supports informed business decisions across the organisation.
  • Support Finance Business Partners by delivering accurate reporting and analysis that adds value to stakeholders.
  • Produce data and analysis for a variety of business-wide projects, helping to support strategic initiatives.
  • Work alongside the Transformation & Innovation team, contributing to financial modelling, data gathering and business improvement projects.
  • Help develop and standardise reporting across multiple divisions, improving consistency and accessibility of management information.
  • Review and enhance reporting tools, templates and processes to improve efficiency, data quality and reporting accuracy.
  • Support the annual budgeting and weekly forecasting process, including preparing budget files and distributing weekly forecasts to senior leadership.
  • Maintain clear process documentation to support consistency, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
  • Do you have what it takes to be a Lithia UK Colleague? We're looking for someone who has:
  • Previous experience in a Finance Analyst, Commercial Finance, Management Accounts or similar analytical role.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate meaningful insights.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with confidence working with large data sets and financial models.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to present findings to both finance and non-finance stakeholders.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting or financial planning processes.
  • Experience improving reporting processes, dashboards or financial reporting tools.
  • Knowledge of Power BI, SQL or other reporting and visualisation tools.
  • Experience working within a large, multi-site organisation.
