About Me

I am neuro-divergent and live at home with my Mum and Dad. I go to many activities over the week, these include swimming, taekwondo, SEN Football, going to the park and adventure play ground, cinema and theatre and eating out. Just like many children my age (11), I would spend a lot of my time glued to my phone given half the chance! But I also love maps, marble runs and maths. I understand and can talk a little, I also understand Mandarin Chinese.

Job details

Your role will be to support me with activities out and about. Whilst I am out you will need to maintain my safety at all times. I have no stranger danger awareness and could walk off with anyone. I may also run anytime so keep alert. I also have a phobia of trees, it is this phobia and stress that may cause me to run.

About You

I need a P.A that is warm, calm and friendly as I\\\’m a very tactile person.

Experience is preferred but not essential as it is more important for us to work well together.

You will need to be a car driver/owner and be physically fit enough to keep up with me.

About Direct Payments

Direct payments are available from Local Authorities for people who have a care and support plan in place following a social care assessment. An amount of money is allocated to purchase the assistance and care needed to live independently.

I should stress that my Dad will be your employer and have full responsibility for recruitment, contracts, supervision, pay, training etc. A support service assists him in meeting his responsibilities as an employer.

If you are a caring, patient, motivated individual looking to contribute your skills in a dynamic environment, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding position as my Personal Assistant.
