Job Descriptions
Store Manager & Assistant Manager
- Lead, motivate, and develop a team of cycling enthusiasts, driving sales growth and delivering exceptional customer service
- Manage store operations, including stock management, merchandising, health and safety, and financial targets
- Ensure a positive, memorable experience for every customer by sharing expert product knowledge and advice
- Maintain an attractive and well-organised store environment aligned with Evans Cycles brand standards
- Coach and train your team continuously, helping them develop skills and product knowledge
- Drive store performance through sales targets, KPI tracking, and innovative sales strategies
- Support administrative tasks, including scheduling, reporting, and cash handling
Cycle Technician / Supervisor Technician
- Oversee the workshop team, ensuring high-quality repairs, servicing, and safety checks
- Lead by example with hands-on mechanical expertise and customer-focused service
- Manage workshop inventory, tools, and equipment
- Provide clear, friendly advice and support to customers on bike maintenance and upgrades
- Maintain high standards of workshop safety and operational efficiency
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in retail, preferably within cycling, sports, or outdoor sectors
- Genuine passion for cycling and a solid understanding of bikes and cycling products
- Exceptional communication, organisation, and motivational skills
- Sales-driven mindset with the ability to meet and exceed targets
- Confident, approachable, and able to foster a positive team culture
