About the Role
We are looking for a highly experienced Full Cycle Account Executive to join our growing commercial team in the UK. This is a pivotal role that bridges the gap between lead generation and deal closure. You will work hand-in-hand with our hunting team to receive qualified leads and take ownership of converting those opportunities into won business.
You will be the face of our technical and commercial credibility during the sales cycle, leading discovery calls, shaping proposals, managing follow-ups, and driving negotiations to a close. As a locally hired professional, you will bring deep UK market knowledge, native-level English communication, and an established network to accelerate our pipeline across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive qualified leads from the hunting team and take full ownership of converting opportunities through to deal closure.
- Lead discovery calls with prospects to understand their business challenges, technical requirements, and buying dynamics.
- Develop compelling, tailored proposals, presentations, and solution documents for ERP modernisation and AI-driven initiatives.
- Manage structured follow-up cadences with prospects to maintain pipeline momentum and address objections at every stage.
- Collaborate closely with internal technical and delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are accurate, feasible, and commercially sound.
- Drive commercial negotiations and close deals across varying deal sizes from quick SMB wins to longer enterprise cycles.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date opportunity data in the CRM at all times.
- Represent the company at industry events, roundtables, and client meetings across the UK.
- Feed market intelligence, competitive insights, and prospect feedback back to product and marketing teams.
- Build long-term relationships with prospects and clients to support repeat business and warm referrals.
Requirements
Essential
- 8+ years of experience in a Pre-Sales, Solution Selling, or consultative B2B sales role within a software or technology environment.
- Proven track record of independently closing complex deals across multiple client segments (SMB through to enterprise).
- Hands-on familiarity with ERP solutions (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, Oracle, or comparable platforms).
- Ability to articulate AI and digital transformation concepts clearly and compellingly to non-technical decision-makers.
- Native-level English with outstanding written and verbal communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Based in the UK with full right to work; an existing professional network in the UK market is strongly preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience crafting proposals, pricing structures, and ROI-driven business cases.
- Proven ability to manage multiple deals at different stages of the pipeline simultaneously without losing momentum.
Desirable
- Experience within or alongside a bespoke software development company.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar tools.
- Trained in a recognised sales methodology (e.g. MEDDIC, Challenger Sale, SPIN Selling, or similar).
- Sector exposure in manufacturing, professional services, retail, or public sector in the UK.
Key Competencies
- Commercial & Sales
- Technical & Domain
- Consultative discovery & qualification
- Proposal writing & executive presentations
- Objection handling & commercial negotiation
- Pipeline management & CRM discipline
- Stakeholder & relationship management
- ERP platform knowledge
- AI & digital transformation literacy
- Solution scoping & commercial modelling
- SDLC awareness (software delivery)
- Translating tech value for business buyers
What We Offer
- Competitive base salary with an uncapped commission structure tied to deals closed.
- Remote-first working with flexibility to travel across the UK for client engagements.
- A qualified pipeline fed by a dedicated hunting team; you focus on converting, not cold outreach.
- Work at the cutting edge of ERP modernisation and AI-driven business transformation.
- Clear career progression into senior commercial leadership as the UK business grows.
- Ongoing professional development including certifications, conferences, and skills training.
