We are seeking a commercially driven Business Development Manager to identify, secure, and grow new global trade partnerships. This role is focused on expanding Evan Evans Tours’ distribution network by onboarding new Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), Tour Operators, Travel Agents, and wholesale partners across emerging and established international markets. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving incremental revenue by positioning and distributing the full Evan Evans Tours portfolio, working closely with internal teams to ensure long-term, sustainable partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and onboard new trade partners including OTAs, Tour Operators, DMCs, Wholesalers, and Travel Agents globally.
- Develop and execute a structured business development strategy across emerging international markets.
- Represent Evan Evans Tours across the full product portfolio: FIT, Group, and Luxury Bespoke.
- Build strong, long-term commercial relationships with decision-makers and key stakeholders.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, pricing structures, and distribution terms aligned with company objectives.
- Attend and actively participate in international trade events, exhibitions, and sales missions, including those organised by ETOA, VisitBritain, and other industry bodies.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, Operations, and Reservations teams to ensure seamless partner onboarding and delivery.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities to inform sales strategy.

Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience in a Business Development, Sales, or Trade-focused role within travel or tourism.
- Strong understanding of B2B travel distribution, including OTAs, wholesalers, and tour operators.
- Demonstrated success in opening new markets and developing new revenue streams.
- Established network of trade contacts and leads across international and emerging markets.
- Experience selling complex travel products, ideally across FIT, Groups, and/or Luxury Bespoke travel.
- Excellent commercial, negotiation, and relationship-management skills.
- Confident presenting to partners both in person and virtually.
- Comfortable with frequent international travel.
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and results-oriented.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working with UK inbound tourism products
- Familiarity with London and UK sightseeing, attractions, or touring products
- Previous attendance at major trade shows such as WTM, ITB, or similar
