This is an onsite role in the Global Markets Research division of one of Evalueserve’s key clients, a leading global financial institution headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, with a strong presence in Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Private Banking, and Asset Management. The Research division comprises an award-winning team that includes economists, strategists, and research analysts based in offices across the globe, offering deep industry knowledge and expertise on a global scale.
The Research PhD Program offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and gain meaningful insight into the complexities and expertise of real-world market issues. You will meet and work with some of the keenest minds in global Macroeconomics and Finance, interact daily with teams from across the Bank as well as with clients, analyse and explain market events, devise models and investment strategies, and assist in the publication of a wide array of Financial Research.
What we are looking for:
- Are you a highly motivated PhD student eager to experience the world of finance in Europe at a premier European Investment Bank?
- You should be in the final year of your PhD program and on track for completion by June 2027. Preferred subjects include Economics, Finance, Econometrics, Financial Mathematics, and Statistics.
- You will bring a passion for macroeconomics and finance and an excellent command of the English language.
- You should be technically adept and, ideally, have the following skills:
- In-depth training and experience in empirical research;
- The ability to manage large datasets;
- Good written and verbal communication skills;
- Solid programming skills (in Python, EViews, or other statistical programming languages);
- AI programming expertise would be an added advantage.
